Six silicone covers for mugs, glasses and cups, one each in green, beige, yellow, brown, grey and black. Six different colours in a shared kitchen or an office is the quickest way of knowing which cup is yours.
Diameter: 10 cm / 3.9 in.
Material: silicone, safe against the rim of a cup.
Quantity: 6, one of each colour.
Heat: withstands boiling water up to 250 C.
Laid over a cup, the cover holds heat in while tea or coffee brews, which makes a noticeable difference when a pot of leaf tea needs several minutes to steep. It also keeps dust out of a drink left standing.
Because they tolerate boiling water they can be sterilised rather than only wiped, and the material is wear-resistant and does not deform easily with repeated use. Check the rim of your own cup against 10 cm for the best seal.
