A large silicone mat that turns a stretch of worktop into a draining area. Water from dishes collects on the surface and runs out through the built-in drain and the raised lip at the edge, so it goes into the sink rather than under the cupboard door.
Size: 19.2 x 16.7 in.
Material: flexible food-grade silicone.
Heat resistance: up to 450 F / 230 C.
Colour: grey.
Because it is heat-resistant as well as water-resistant, most households end up using it for more than drying: a trivet under a hot pan, a liner for a refrigerator shelf, a baking surface, a non-slip base beneath a chopping board, or a mat under a coffee machine to catch drips.
The grip keeps whatever is standing on it from sliding. It is dishwasher safe, wipes clean in seconds, and rolls or folds away flat when the worktop is needed for something else.
