A large spinner worked by pressing down on the pump handle, so one hand does the whole job and the other is free to hold the bowl or reach for the next thing. A brake button stops the basket immediately when you are done, instead of waiting for it to wind down.
Capacity: 6.3 QT.
Operation: one-handed press pump, hand cranked, no power needed.
Pusher: retractable, so the handle sits flat for storage.
Base: non-slip, to keep it steady on a worktop.
The basket spins fast enough to throw water off the surface of leaves by centrifugal force, which is what keeps a salad crisp and stops dressing sliding straight off wet lettuce. It handles greens, herbs, berries and cut fruit.
The outer bowl doubles as a washing basin, so the greens can be rinsed and drained in the same piece of equipment before they are dried. Comes with 3 blades in a colour box.
